# Draw to Image

Draw a sketch of your object and transform it into a detailed image. Useful when a shape is easier to draw than to describe, and the result works as an input for Image to 3D.

You will find it as **Draw to Image** in the Create Image menu. The tool's own header reads **Draw Image**.

### How it works

1. Sketch your object on the canvas. Rough is fine, the shape is what matters.
2. Write a prompt describing what you want. The field reads *Describe what you want to create...*
3. Click **Generate**.

The canvas must have something on it. If you generate with an empty canvas, Sloyd asks you to draw first.

Generation takes around 15 seconds.

### After generating

You can accept the new image, keep both versions, or discard the change and return to your sketch. Resetting the canvas clears it so you can start again.

### Tips

* Draw the silhouette first. Outline matters more than detail.
* Say in the prompt what the sketch cannot show, such as material and lighting.
* One object per sketch. A full scene gives weaker results.
